Who I am
I’m Tomasz — a strategist, a system-thinker, and a solution-architect working in energy, environmental and regulated systems.
I bring over a decade of experience in nuclear decommissioning and radioactive waste management across the United Kingdom and European Union — as a practitioner responsible for real projects, not only an advisor to them.
That work has already crossed boundaries and integrated disciplines — building assurance cases that convince regulators and the public that a decision will hold up decades later, governing programmes where trust is the real currency — is exactly what energy transition needs now, as investment accelerates faster than governance can keep up.
On environment, because the connection isn’t obvious: radioactive waste management is environmental stewardship at its most consequential — protecting the natural world from one of the most demanding technological solutions we build and leave behind. The discipline it takes transfers directly to the wider energy transition.
Extending deliberately into energy transition is the direction I’m building toward. My focus is on the intersection of technical systems, governance, and responsible strategy — supporting organisations that need depth, coherence, and a systemic view of change.

My background
I hold a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland and have been awarded a status of Chartered Chemist (CChem) from the Royal Society of Chemistry in London, bringing scientific discipline, analytical rigour, and professional integrity to every engagement
I bring over a decade of experience in high‑consequence, regulated environments in the UK and EU — nuclear, environmental governance, and technical–regulatory systems where clarity and disciplined judgement are essential. It is where my approach to governance, feasibility, risk, assurance, and long‑term stewardship was formed. Today, I apply that discipline to sustainability and the transition.

How I show up
Calm, rational, and direct. I don’t sell hype or jargon. My approach is Socratic more often than not — I’d rather help you see your own situation clearly than hand you a prescription you haven’t tested against your own judgement. This draws on years spent mentoring technical teams and continues today through mentoring students. Clients who work well with me are the ones who want a thinking partner, not just an answer.
