Version: 1.0 (created: 1st April 2026; last review: 1st April 2026)
These Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) set out the general principles that apply when you use this website or engage in an initial conversation about potential consulting work. I reserve the right to agree in writing engagement‑specific terms and conditions.
1. Use of the website
This website provides information about my consulting services in energy, environment, and sustainability. All content is for general guidance only and does not constitute professional advice. You should not make decisions based solely on the information provided here.
2. Initial conversations
Any introductory call or conversation is exploratory and non‑binding. Its purpose is to understand your context, clarify the problem space, and determine whether I can help. No consulting relationship is formed until both parties agree in writing to a scope and conditions of work.
3. Engagement terms
All consulting work is governed by a written proposal or contract that defines:
- Scope and deliverables
- Timelines
- Fees and payment terms
- Responsibilities of each party
- Confidentiality and data handling
- Any additional terms relevant to the engagement
My work and its results, verbal, written or otherwise stated, are done to my best professional standard and in good faith, they are based on current and publicly available information and/or information sources clearly defined in contract. I take no legal or otherwise responsibility for the content of my work and/or any consequences of its use.
Project‑specific terms may take precedence over any general information on this website if agreed in writing prior to commencing work.
4. Fees and pricing
Advisory work is typically billed at an hourly rate. Project‑based work (strategy, governance, analysis, research, synthesis) is priced according to scope, complexity, and risk.
No fees are incurred until a written agreement is in place. Fees and pricing do not include value-added tax (VAT).
5. Confidentiality
I treat all information shared during initial conversations as confidential. Formal confidentiality obligations are defined in the engagement contract.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, intellectual property created during an engagement is assigned or licensed as defined in a project contract.
All methodologies, frameworks, tools, analytical approaches, and professional expertise used in the course of my work remain my intellectual property and may not be used without my permission in writing. Unless explicitly agreed in writing, no transfer of ownership is implied.
Website content remains my intellectual property and may not be reproduced without permission.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any loss arising from the use of this website or reliance on its content.
All work is carried out in good faith, using my best professional judgement, experience, and the information available in public domain at the time. Use of restricted information or otherwise not readily available information is specifically stated in a written contract.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, conclusions, recommendations, and deliverables are not a legal or otherwise binding advice. I take no responsibility for decisions made or actions taken by a client or third parties based on my work, nor for outcomes that depend on factors outside my control.
8. External links
This website and/or my work may contain links and/or references to third-party sources. I take no responsibility for their content or accuracy or any other aspects of the external content.
9. Changes to these terms
I may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
